Fees for Psychology Consults and Services
Thank you for your interest in consulting me as your Psychologist. Please see below for details of my service fees.
I conduct sessions either face-to-face or via Skype/FaceTime for those who cannot make it to the Practice. Please note, however, that Medicare claiming clients must attend face-to-face to qualify for the rebate.
I consult in my Castle Hill rooms on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week. I have after hours appointments (latest appointment 6.30/7pm) available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
$180 per 50-55 minute session
Additional fees apply for reports or other services that require time to be spent outside of your session. This is usually charged based upon the time it takes me to complete the work.
Payment is required at time of consultation and can be made by cash, eftpos or credit card. I am also able to process Medicare and most health insurance claims on the spot.
Some of my clients are able to access the Medicare Benefits Scheme for their mental health treatment. This scheme allows you to access a rebate for up to 10 psychology sessions per calendar year. The rebate is currently $86.15 per 50 minute session. Your GP will determine your eligibility for this scheme and will provide you with a referral and a Mental Health Treatment Plan if this is the case. This paperwork is important so please bring it with you to your session. Click here for more information.
I can process most Health Fund claims on the spot if you are covered for psychology services under your policy.
I ask that you respect my time by giving at least 24 hours’ notice if you are unable to attend a session and I commit to showing you the same courtesy. I often have a waiting list for appointments and it is frustrating for those clients and for me if I don’t have enough time to offer them your spot. Short notice cancellations attract a $55 cancellation fee, whilst failing to turn up for your appointment without any notice at all will incur the full cost of the missed session. Whilst I understand that there are sometimes extenuating circumstances, please appreciate that my time is as precious as yours and that this work is my livelihood.
